As I mentioned before, we provide safety and staffing coverage for Warrior Dash and all their events. Each one of those events is in a different city, bringing with it specific challenges. Our responsibility is to provide the same level of coverage no matter where someone experiences their Warrior Dash. Here’s how we do it.
We’ve built a safety committee for Warrior Dash that teaches their organization how to assess, manage, and mitigate risk. The safety committee helps foster communication between Joffe and Warrior Dash, as well as help us react to hazards that may occur out in the field and dynamically respond to whatever situation arises.
Through an annual “Safety Summit,” we train the Warrior Dash team on how they will respond to both basic and large-scale emergencies, from weather shifts to active shooters. Additionally, we train the team in how they will guide event attendees through an emergency. Ever contemplated how to handle a panicked crowd? We have.
Our Joffe medical experts have also built the operational medical plan that every event utilizes for their response to emergencies. We’ve designed responses and plans for any ostensible hazard that may arise, and train on-site members in what to do.
