Friend,

Welcome to the first of Joffe’s monthly Event Safety Update! I'm excited to introduce to you this new resource, which is meant to support you in your efforts to keep your events as safe as possible for everyone involved.

Each month, we will be sharing news and perspectives on what’s happening across the industry, recapping recent and upcoming events, and providing resources that offer tips and best practices for safe events.

We’ve included some of this below, but first, a bit about our team...

For those I haven’t had the opportunity to meet yet, I’m Chris Joffe, Founder and CEO of Joffe Emergency Services. We provide medical professionals to hundreds of events across the country, including both Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). With highly qualified, highly responsive teams, and customized support, we work diligently with each client to ensure they have what they need to create a safe and successful event.

We also have a team of experts working behind the scenes to support, train, and bolster our event safety staff, including experts in public safety and active shooter prevention. We’d love to connect with you to share more, learn about your event safety needs, or just discuss what you’re seeing across the industry. Please reach out to us anytime.

In Strength,

Chris Joffe

Emergency notification systems act as a lifeline for event safety. Regular testing of these systems is important to their effectiveness.

In our latest blog post, we explain how outdated or malfunctioning systems can lead to confusion, delays, and even catastrophic consequences during an emergency.
